Prompt is as follows:

with a twist.

Take any recent movie and somehow link the theme of it into Tom's life.

Come on, we all know the break up scene at the end of HBP was taken from the Spiderman movie!

Title: That Word.
Challenge: Muggle.
Rating: PG
Characters: Tom Riddle, Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Hogwarts Students

"You lived with muggles?"

The first time Tom heard it, it was dripping with scorn.

"Ah muggles! They make quite nice candy. Lemon drop?"

The second time Tom heard it, it was coated with fondness.

"Urgh! I got a horrid grade on my last paper in muggle studies. I can never remember all that ekelectro stuff!"

The third time Tom heard it, it was simply there.

"I'm doing this for my parents and for Dumbledore; I'm doing this for the muggles who have died and had no idea why."

The last time Tom heard it, it was a war cry.

Title: Beginning of the mark
Challenge: Tattoo
Rating: PG
Characters: Tom Riddle
A/N: A little venture into the mindset of Tom Riddle. Read and Review [Preferably at my LJ jehove]!

The protean charm. Tom’s eyes reflected the candle flame as he scanned through the pages. The idea of absolute control over the mark enticed him. Someday he would have his own mark. The insignia of absolute power, revered for all of time, all his and only his. Embedded into the skin of those easily manipulated weaklings as a mark of servitude, to him and only him.

The creaking of doors announced the presence of the caretaker. Tom shut the book in haste, leaving the library. The soft moonlight, however, did nothing to quell the burning mad sparkle within his eyes.
